James Traficant 2010!

Wednesday will be a great day for America - James Traficant will be free at last. Convicted of petty corruption that would make him look like a saint compared to his fellow members of Congress, he was railroaded out of Congress on a 420-1 vote. Traficant was one of the last truly genuine members of congress and actually seemed to give a damn about his blue-collar constituents, unlike most of the faux-populist liberals who dominate the party today but are in the pocket of cultural leftists, corporations, and special interests.

R.I.P Ted Kennedy

I await another "Liberal Lion" to continue Ted's legacy in the United States Senate. It's vitally important we work to reform our broken immigration system, which Ted worked tirelessly to improve throughout his life. Ted even worked across the aisle with our great President George Bush and the maverick John McCain to help reform our broken immigration system. His passionate support of the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 was only the beginning of a lifelong pursuit of justice. It is my hope and prayer that Barack Obama will do his best to carry on Ted's legacy and with the help of Senator McCain and other patriots, we will finally correct our terribly unjust and racist immigration policies.

I will further genuflect on Kennedy's other legislative accomplishments in further posts. I hope to touch on his tireless efforts in support of gun control, his staunch support of Israel, his gallant efforts to increase federal control of education, his brave fight against extremist and anti-women Supreme Court appointments like Robert Bork and Clarence Thomas, his opposition to the bigotry inherent in the Defense of Marriage Act and his personal struggle against the "special interests" who wanted the Cape Wind project built less than 5 miles from his home. Also, we cannot forget Senator Kennedy's deep Catholic Faith which helped frame his passionate support for a woman's right to choose.

May the struggle live on in Ted's memory.

I'm sure this is going to work out swell.

California bill would free more than 27,000 inmates

I'm sure in these great economic times that the inmates will be able to quickly find jobs, integrate back into society, and become community leaders. Never mind that at 70%, California already has the highest recidivism rate in the country.

He's always been right!

Stocks rise as Bernanke says economy near recovery.

Big Corporations And Big Government At Work For America

It's Evil!

From the Article:

The other shoe has dropped. CIA Director Leon Panetta, it turns out, ran up to Capitol Hill in June not simply to confess that the CIA had a secret assassination program it never implemented but rather to confess that it had subcontracted the job out. As first reported by the New York Times on its website on Aug. 19, the CIA hired Blackwater to help with a secret program to assassinate top al-Qaeda leaders. Although no one was assassinated before the program was ultimately shelved - and the Times reported that it's not clear that Blackwater was engaged to do anything more than assist with planning, training and surveillance - Panetta must have been horrified that the CIA turned to mercenaries to play a part in its dirty work. It's one thing, albeit often misguided, for the agency to outsource certain tasks to contractors. It's quite another to involve a company like Blackwater in even the planning and training of targeted killings, akin to the CIA going to the mafia to draw up a plan to kill Castro.
